How is our equipment tested?

At Calibrate UK, our engineers utilize cutting-edge medical equipment testing devices to ensure the highest standards of performance and safety for your equipment. We conduct thorough testing, and based on the results, your equipment will either pass or fail, depending on whether it operates within predefined tolerances. Should an item fail, our engineers typically offer on-site calibration or repairs to get you back up and running quickly. In cases where on-site calibration isn't feasible, we'll advise you on the next steps for off-site repairs. Our engineers are always ready to discuss your options in detail during their visit, ensuring you're fully informed and confident in the solution.

How does it work once I contact you?

Once you've confirmed your quote, our friendly booking team will work closely with you to arrange a convenient date and time for your service. We aim to make the process as seamless as possible to ensure minimal disruption.

One week before your scheduled visit, you'll receive a reminder email, along with useful tips to help you prepare and get the most out of the visit.

How does it work on the day of the visit?

On the day of your visit, our engineer will adapt to whatever works best for you. Whether you prefer to have a staff member assist by guiding the engineer through the facility, or if you'd like the engineer to move freely from room to room, we are happy to accommodate your needs. Some surgeries prefer to have their equipment prepped and ready ahead of the engineer’s arrival—if that’s the case for you, just let us know. If you have any special requirements, please inform our booking team when scheduling your appointment, and we’ll ensure everything is tailored to fit your needs.

What happens if we have used you before?

If you've used our services before, our booking team will proactively reach out to you ahead of your next scheduled calibration, so you don’t have to worry about remembering the date.
